Life Styles – Right and Wrong
INTRODUCTION:
There are many different life styles, but NOT all comply with The Inspired Word of Almighty God (YHWH), the Bible. It is imperative that all genuine followers of Jesus (Yeshua) Christ live life styles that are in harmony with Almighty God (YHWH) as revealed in the Bible.
As Galatians 5:19, “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,” clearly shows, many life styles are NOT approved by Almighty God (YHWH).” (Authorized King James Bible; AV)
WHAT LIFE STYLES ARE NOT APPROVED BY ALMIGHTY GOD (YHWH)?
Let’s look at the The Inspired Word of Almighty God (YHWH), the Bible, for the answers to life styles not approved by Almighty God (YHWH).
First, the Bible clearly shows homosexuality and lesbianism and bestiality are WRONG life styles.
As 1 Cor 6:9-10, “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.” (AV)
And this is made even more clear at Romans 1:19-29, “Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,” (AV)
And for men to want other men for forbidden sexual pleasures has always been wrong as shown
By Leviticus 18:22-24, “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.
24 Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:” (AV)
And by Jude 7-8, “Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. (none existence)
8 ¶ Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.” (AV)
And by Leviticus 20:13, “If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.” (this shows a principle as we are no longer under the ancient Old Law Covenant made with the ancient nation of Israel.) (AV)
Second, Galatians 6:7, clearly shows, “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting” (AV)
Third, as clearly shown by 2 Peter 2:13-14 & 19 13, “And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that count it pleasure to riot in the day time. Spots they are and blemishes, sporting themselves with their own deceivings while they feast with you;
14 Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls: an heart they have exercised with covetous practices; cursed children:
17 These are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.” (AV)
CONCLUSION:
Many so called life styles of today are nothing but sin, the falling from the perfect standard of Almighty God (YHWH). Yes, some may derive temporary wrongful pleasure from them, but they are one and all condemned by The Inspired Word of Almighty God (YHWH), the Bible.
In fact, Genesis 3:20, states, “And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living.” (AV) and not Steve. So it is clear from the beginning that Almighty God (YHWH) intended marriage to be between a man and a women and no other way.
