But fret not, here is an article on an item of extreme importance that all should read:
No Natural Affection A Sign Of The Last Days, Evidenced At The Sandy Hook Elementary School In Connecticut
INTRODUCTION:
The Apostle Paul foretold at 2 Timothy 3-7, that in the last days some would be without natural affection as follows, But know this, that in the last days grievous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, haughty, railers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 without natural affection, implacable, slanderers, without selfcontrol, fierce, no lovers of good,
4 traitors, headstrong, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God;
5 holding a form of godliness, but having denied the power thereof: from these also turn away.
6 For of these are they that creep into houses, and take captive silly women laden with sins, led away by divers lusts,
7 ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. (American Standard Version; ASV)
We saw this reality with respect the massacre at the Sandy Hook Elementary School In Connecticut. Unfortunately, this is but one example of the new reality that many are without natural affection in this culmination of the end times and this reality has played out in many places. Most notably in the United States it has played out saliently in well known massacres at Virginia Technical, a movie theater in Colorado, in a mall in Oregon, and now at the At The Sandy Hook Elementary School In Connecticut.
COPING:
This world has become a very dangerous place, and many schools in North America have been installing security measures that would have been unthinkable a few years ago as their measure to cope with the reality that some are without natural affection. The problem is even worse elsewhere as Islam in Islamic countries turns a blind eye to the bombings of schools for girls and the murder and attempted murder of school girls, such as Malala Yousufzai a 14-15 year old school girl who took a strong stand for the right of girls to obtain an education. However, Islam has utterly failed to even throw out of Islam, excommunicate, even one of these evil doers who have no natural affection.
The Bible, at Psalm 73:28 clearly shows how we should cope with these conditions existing at the culmination of the end times as follows, But as for me, the drawing near to God is good for me. In the Sovereign Lord Jehovah I have placed my refuge, To declare all your works. (New World Translation; NSW).
DOOMED TO FAILURE:
Most of the security measures being taken by public screws in North America are doomed to failure since dysfunctional individuals without natural affection will just look at them as challenges to be overcome when they desire to carry out a massacre.
I analyzed the situation with a view to how it could be ameliorated, and then wrote a short article I sent to a major newspaper. Here is my article.
The unfortunate string of mass shootings, i.e., Virginia Tech, Colorado Theater, Sandy Hook Elementary School, Oregon Mall all have one common denominator that should be addressed if a solution is wanted. Instead almost everyone is focusing on the guns used instead of the real dysfunction. All the perpetrators had one characteristic in common that should be dealt with since it is the real problem that led all of these to commit their horrible crimes. All the shooters were loner individuals who had the inability of being close to others and the inability to form close friendship bonds with others. Successful prevention MUST address this personality flaw, not guns if crimes like this are to be prevented.
Individuals with this personality flaw should be spotted and reported by teachers to authorities for mental health evaluation by school psychologist and/or other mental health professionals and listed, if found to be seriously disturbed, on the do-not-sell guns list, and the people they live with should be required to keep all guns and other instruments capable of being used as weapons locked up where they can NOT have access.
Its focus is not on making schools fortresses, but recognizing the root cause of the problem; to wit, individuals without natural affection.
CONCLUSION:
My article to the newspaper gives the signs of such individuals teachers should be observant for and steps to be taken once noted, i.e., do not let the individuals problem fester without attention until something like the Sandy Hook Elementary School In Connecticut massacre occurs. And, remember Psalm 37:29 with respect the eventual outcome, The righteous themselves will possess the earth, And they will reside forever upon it. (New World Translation; NSW).
